Did you know there are over 100,000 children in the United States who are available for adoption? Most people in our country have no idea. One of the main goals of Project Zero is to raise awareness about the need for adoptive families for children who are languishing in foster care waiting to be adopted. These children have entered foster care through no fault of their own and deserve the love, nurture and permanence of a family. It is imperative that our nation see this critical need and embrace the kids that are in our own backyards. We hope to raise awareness in several ways: through the statewide traveling Heart Gallery (established in 2013), through product sales, speaking engagements and through informational and fundraising events throughout the year.
