Tiphanie Gurwell

Northwest Arkansas Outreach Coordinator
Project Zero

Tipahanie Gurwell became the NWA outreach coordinator in 2017. Tiphanie has a passion for building bridges and making connections within her community and the local church to help raise awareness about the need for more adoptive families and community involvement. With similar childhood experiences as most of our waiting kids in foster care, Tiphanie has a deep understanding of their social dynamics and is committed to fighting for each child to have an opportunity to find a forever family. Throughout her career, Tiphanie has worked to amplify the voices of waiting kids in foster care and promote the need for more adoptive families and support from the community. As an outreach coordinator, she has organized several connection events, awareness opportunities and fundraising events to establish partnerships with local families, churches and businesses.

Tiphanie’s expertise lies in developing strategic outreach plans that effectively reach target audiences and drive meaningful impact. Her collaborative approach and strong communication skills have enabled her to build strong relationships with families and churches in NWA.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Tiphanie is a wife and mother of four, she is also active in her church and volunteers her time with their youth group. She believes in the power of collective action to create positive change and believes that by working together we can see zero children waiting in foster care. In her free time, Tiphanie enjoys being with friends and family, going to the lake and planning weddings.
