Meet our friend Ze’Riah. Ze’Riah loves Tik Tok, music, watching YouTube, doing her nails, and makeup. Ze’Riah also loves skateboarding, experimenting with cooking, Minnie Mouse, and sewing. Like most kids in foster care, Ze’Riah has experienced trauma prior to coming into care, and that trauma shows up in other ways. For example, Ze’Riah has a hard time trusting and opening up to people. She also struggles with reciprocating respect if it is not given to her. Please, do not let these things deter you from adopting this wonderful girl. She’ll quickly learn to trust and feel safe…she just needs consistency, structure, patience, and support. Ze’Riah prefers a two-parent household that looks like her. Ze’Riah knows exactly what adoption means, so it is important that she meets the perfect family.
