Life in foster care isn’t easy. It often means adapting to new environments, navigating big changes, and working through challenges that many kids never face. Michael has experienced a difficult start in life, but he’s made meaningful progress and continues to grow. He benefits from having structure and clear expectations, and he does best when surrounded by adults who provide consistent guidance. School can be tough for him, but he has supports in place to meet his learning needs. He sometimes needs extra reminders, but with patience and encouragement, he puts in the effort and tries his best. One of Michael’s greatest strengths is his desire to help. He enjoys pitching in around the house and being outdoors. Michael loves to be part of a team and feeling included. He takes pride in being responsible and thrives when he’s given clear roles and routines. Michael would do well in a structured, two-parent home with caregivers who are patient, supportive, and firm when needed. Michael is more than his past and he’s ready for a family who will give him the guidance, structure, and consistency he needs to continue building a positive future. Could that family be yours?
