Meet Jacob! This absolutely precious, sweet, and curious boy has already shown more strength and resilience than many do in a lifetime. He has amazed medical professionals with his perseverance, and his joyful spirit shines through each new milestone. Jacob loves swinging (he could spend forever in his swing!), flipping through books, and watching his favorite shows—Cocomelon and Bluey. He’s especially drawn to toys with buttons and lights, and lately, he’s been babbling more and becoming increasingly engaged with the world around him. His therapists have set a goal for him to be walking soon, and Jacob is working hard to get there. Jacob does face unique medical challenges and delays. He is fed through a G-tube and attends therapy several days a week. Jacob will need a family that is prepared to meet his ongoing medical and therapeutic needs. There are many services and other supports already in place to help his future family along the way. Jacob would thrive in a two-parent household where he can receive the time, patience, and love he deserves.
