Do you know what pairs perfectly with tacos and a warm batch of homemade cookies? Drake—a teen boy with a passion for the culinary arts and a dream of becoming a professional chef. His other dream? To find a forever family to share the kitchen (and his heart) with. Drake is a true master in the kitchen. Whether he's putting a creative twist on a classic dish or experimenting with a brand-new recipe, cooking is his happy place. He dreams of attending culinary school and one day running a kitchen of his own. But for now, he’s focused on learning, growing, and pouring his heart into every dish he creates. Beyond his culinary talents, Drake is a founding member of a mentorship program for teen boys in foster care—a reflection of his leadership, compassion, and desire to make a difference. He also loves animals, playing Uno and board games, and collecting anime merch like Funko Pops and Lee Howard Art. Like many teens, Drake faces some challenges—stress about school, overthinking, and navigating communication—but he’s deeply reflective and values honesty, support, and being heard. He’s not afraid to seek understanding during conflict and truly wants to build meaningful, trusting relationships. Drake’s ideal family can come in any shape or size, but they’ll need strong values, structure, patience, and a willingness to talk through the hard stuff with love and honesty. Most of all, they’ll need to be ready to open their hearts—and their kitchen—to a kind, talented, and thoughtful teen who has the perfect recipe for his “happily ever after.”
